We appreciated the gesture of goodwill (a small present) at the check out, but the excuses for the check in experience could have been delivered on the first day... we felt like we were not 'important' guests.... more than 2,5k spent in 2 days are probably not enough for this pretentious resort. I also had a wonderful massage which was very different and felt restorative. I was asked to leave from a restaurant because my son was wearing hotel provided slippers. Luxury resort, space and nature, in the surroundings of Lake Garda and the Dolomites. Or keep things calm in the relaxation room with breathtaking panoramas, leaf-green accents and a branch-like light sculpture reminding you that you’re up at treetop level. I would much rather spend my money where I am treated well. I was expecting something similar to Aspen/Snowbird/ Vail....not. The first day I ventured out on my own. Room types may vary.Not convincing. We booked a Junior Prestige Suite and got a room with a nice view of the mountains. Large windows overlook the surrounding mountain scenery offering great views throughout the year. Featuring a restaurant, the property also has an outdoor swimming pool, as well as an indoor pool and a fitness center. However, I am very sorry to read your comment about our Staff, especially given the great attention we pay to the selection and professional development of our Team. Or in summer, go green – hike, bike or horse ride across the forested Dolomites and try out one of the two nine-hole golf courses located minutes from the hotel.The hotel reserved us a room upgrade in aroom with a beautiful mountain view. The room (deluxe junior suite) is a large room, not a suite, but with a nice terrace.... overlooking the valley and the other guests in the swimming pool. We tried both the Michelin star locations and two pizza places, all of which blow away anything you could find in Manhattan. Overall disappointing, expensive and not in the best part of the Dolomites. The entire stay was relaxing and the panoramic views were stunning.......... We loved our daily swims in the outdoor heated pool surrounded by the mountains- a truly spectacular view. The attention to detail that has been put into everything from the architecture and design to guest room comfort, food, staff, and spa & sauna facilities was fantastic. Seasonal ingredients and organic certified producers are preferred.Experience all of the elements at the Lefay SPA - The striking tonalite sports pool creates a beautiful earthy feel, while the indoor-outdoor pool blends into the breath-taking landscape so you will truly feel at one with the environment.
