Good Bavarian fare and the owner is very funny! I did not booked but given 100 mins to finish the meal before the reservation people show up. It was finger-licking good, even tho they give you lemon water to wash up. How often do you get asked if you would like another dumpling or more sauerkraut? Great food and the service is impeccable. This restaurant is not just a place for an amazing meal, but an amazing experience. Duck leg was very well...Our first night in Rothenburg and we were passing by around 6:00PM, stepped in and ask if they had a table and were surprised when they said yes "but for one hour only" which was okay with us.
