A good choice of food and excellent service especially the reception staff who were incredibly helpful when I had to get my daughter to a hospital Elena Belessi was very kind and reassuring. Overall, the food was very good, don't expect fresh to order restaurant quality because it is a mass catering buffet after all, but even so the quality is very good. As a first impression, it is an old Hotel well renovated exactly in the front of a beautifull beach!! Be aware the entertainment is on a weekly basis only. Sea was lovely and clear. Staff pleasant & helpful.

If you wanna explore the Peloponnese around (Mycenes, Epidaurus, Nafplio,...) you better come by rental car The Grove is a beautiful,quiet relaxing hotel with very friendly staff lovely restaurant pool bar and beach I had a lovely holiday with my family. The area is quite mountainous (not Drepano itself) and the sea is enclosed on three sides due as it is an indent, which makes for a lovely backdrop for sitting at the beach or going for a stroll. We had heard so many wonderful things about the town of Nafplio we asked if we could cancel the room. Pool: We only spent half a day here because we prefer the sea, but the pool itself is nice and getting sunbeds seemed relatively straight forward. hope to see you again soon :-) Overall Impression: Overall the Grove Seaside resort offers excellent value for money, with a good range of food, drinks and facilities with friendly staff. Not big though, but you could find everything, every person was really satisfied from the food. Looking for a place to stay in Drepano? Rooms: quite large and aesthetically pleasing Fridge: apparently used to keep things cool (lukewarm rather!) Particularly the Greek cuisine is the highlight here (makes sense, no?).

The only possible drawback is that it’s used by many international tour groups but, for us, that only made it more interesting as hearing the variety of languages spoken in the breakfast room was delightful!
