We didn't eat other meals in the restaurant, so can't comment those. We are very happy that we could made your time in berlin great again, after you had this bad experience in an other hotel.

Yes, it offers reduced mobility rooms and facilities for disabled guests. Only negative thing was the water temperature in shower which changed abruptly (not so great with kids). Breakfast was again served Corona style, but efficiently (using time-slots of 45 minutes) and what was offered for food was very good, tasty. The hotel boasts 217 quiet and bright rooms. Location is ok, but U-bahn lines towards Mitte were cut because of renovation (it would've been great if the staff had mentioned that - not so many guests because of covid-19, so...). At night, the room got bloody hot, tried to work with the airco, did not work, went downstairs and were told the airco was out of order... they could not inform us if it would be repaired any time soon, because of the smouldering heat left window open, mosquito attack! Price was right and also had stayed here before (also when it was called Alsterhof). Another good experience. Next time we will take Scandic into account again!
