The toilets are equally large and clean. We regret to hear that your overall experience fell short of your expectations. First night had double bed not twin room requested. Staff members are very helpful - if you arrive early or need to leave late, they will hold your luggage. Despite being in a lovely old well restored building the rooms wings are very 'modern standard hotel'.

We were there in a heat wave and when we got into the room it was near 29 deg C. I fiddled for ages with the 'aircon' controlled to try and get the temperature down. The rooms are big, clean and there’s a mini-kitchenette if you’re staying for a longer time and wish to cook. Location and room (apart from failings below) were reasonable.

Didn't select the breakfast option (€12 pp) as we felt there would be much lots of options in the town a short walk away - there were! I was surprised that the bed sheets smelt old when we slept the first night. Too hot ! Breakfast was simple but ample.
